  1. I mean sure, you get these insane rates, but it's so localized. Then like what happened with @TugHillMatt one day of sun and temp neat 40 and you lose 10 inch snow pack to 2". Stuff just sublimates and melts with no mercy. Atleast with blizzards there is some man sweat in there instead of this Co2 driven stuff lol
  2. I dunno, from experiencing this lake effect stuff and east coast blizzards, I'll take a blizzard over this 10 mile wide lake effect band stuff lol. I know that is going to make a few posters roll over in their grave.
  3. O yea, anywhere with elev. Like I said though, I avg over 100" can't really complain lol. I mean relative scheme of things for the area I'm the low man out, but a 126" snow mean is wow worthy.
  4. Lol it's already killing me haha. That shadow suckkkkksssss. But it's a trade off. Like for wolfie's location. yes he gets crushed with lake effect but the snow retention aspect is no where close to here in lowville. The snow retention here is solid
  5. probably will finish close to 3". The little weenie band last night did the most damage. Just had some very light snow most of the day that hasn't done much until last 1hr
  6. Getting some decent rates right now. Probably around or just under mile vis
  7. I def will defer to you then as I have no knowledge with lake effect
  8. That looks to robust to me for your area. I would make the 24-30 in the upslope territory by lewis, jeff, oswego counties meet.
  9. 2" or so last night up until now, solely from that Gregorian Bay connection band. Board cleared, hoping rgem and hrdps is right, but not sure it gets as far north as me.
  10. Good thing is though, the rain last night added some meat to it, so that will help
  11. I was thinking the same honestly but didn’t want to say anything since I’m relatively new to the lake effect game. Was expecting a more consolidated band. This one looks like it are rice krispy treats
  12. @TugHillMatt may get some goods as the flow turns northerly after the trough passes
  13. Would think it lifts north a bit. Incoming arctic front diving down with trough should back flow a bit more wsw briefly before going south again as torugh gets close then goes over head
  14. If I get into that band it will be by the hair of my chinny chin chin. Going to be close. Rgem and hrdps most aggressive.
  15. How do you measure this stuff? Wind just blows it right off my white board.
  16. its dumping right now under that weenie band with Gbay and Ontario connection.
  17. Yea, we had zr up to about 9am here, then a pelt peltfest with some snow mixed in. Only got to 36. My driveway is a sheet of ice. Will make shoveling easier.
