Well some of us less knowledgeable posters have been saying January 20th and later for quite some time. I recognize the "indices" might have looked good but nothing said snow was imminent it was all speculation and whining and weenie hope. It was clear we had no cold air and were relying on luck. Texas and the deep south got the luck...maybe we are next but if the cold materializes I think we might....but I wouldn't count on it just because an index says so....nothing ever says it's supposed to snow. That said I get being frustrated because it hasn't snowed but not because someone said a pattern looked good or thought it could snow.
Was driving up through Westminster yesterday and saw some decent sized parking lot snow piles still.. impressive honestly considering how long ago it was. I'm still on board for the 20th as to when the models start showing the goods...if not then I'm going to start concentrating on my other hobby...getting fat
My artificial deadline has been January 20th to start seeing hits on the models if next Wednesday's model runs don't show some nice outcomes it's summer mode for me. It's funny that tracking used to be pretty exciting but is now honestly the least enjoyable part of the hobby. I'm full of patience and I also know when to cut the cord. I remain hopeful.
I don't know guys, to the best of my knowledge it hasn't really snowed yet in January and this week looks like it might not snow....i'm just spit balling here but I'm saying through January 15th it's not looking so good.
My fb post said nothing like 30 straight hours of snow. 11" here...a certain someone forgot about this storm but yet still claims the totals were higher
