I will say this the last several runs for my area have increased the total snow still minor but not as gross. Two or three more juices and it might just get to my call. I'll take it

I'm in the minority but I think DT's snow maps are fine, where he's gone off the rails is those start time maps....those things are a mess

Man osfan seems so sad and negative, can someone give that dude a lifesaver to cheer him up?

If the euro is right i need it to be a 35-1 ratio to get my expected call. Oh well, at least i don't get paid to predict

Late January and February Medium/Long Range Discussion
aldie 22 replied to WinterWxLuvr's topic in Mid Atlantic
Is it me or has January felt like a lifetime? I guess the cold made it drag out but to think in theory we still have our snowiest month left is a positive....unless Roundy is right and we flip to warm in mid January- 4,130 replies

I wanted to wait to post this after the models confirmed what I've known all along but I didn't want to post until they showed what I was thinking. 2" for my back yard...sorry folks just saying what I knew would happen but wanted to wait to say it.
-
Ok maybe not 2"
-
There's my 2"
-
At least one model will give me 2" tonight

Sticking to my 2.8" final call from two days ago

Reminder if you say that something fails to trend positively everytime that means you are locked in to the fact that there has never ever been a storm that trended positively in the history of storms thus looking like a complete fool who acts like they are a 10 yr old spoiled brat. Time to move bro you don't like it here anymore go be happy somewhere.

If a model fits your narrative, hug it...if not...toss it. Classic Americanwx weenie's up in here

Do you have money on this or something?

Every shift nails the same locations while the fringe areas stay relatively consistent. I'm no expert but I do have to pay attention to trends and details in my work and what I notice is despite all of the shifts and changes at any hour the end results aren't changing drastically so to me that says we probably have seen something close to the final solution save a few tweaks. Again, hope i'm wrong but if my area gets 2-4" that will cover everything and look gorgeous and I can be happy with that.

I mean i get it all of these models are close enough that it makes sense to keep on tracking but it sure feels like the top end has shown it's hand on many of these model runs even with the shifts. Of course i am probably wrong but that coastal isn't going to hit us beyond the eastern shore. I'll keep following though but it's much easier being out my way to just let it go. Hope i'm wrong
