That sounds about right.
Yup...those were good times. My mom used to listen to the radio in the morning so I would lay in bed and listen to the them go down the list. It used to piss me off so much because Hartford used to close constantly and West Hartford wouldn't. Granted though...back then West Hartford did a helluva job cleaning roads. Hartford sucked. You would tell what streets separated Hartford from West Hartford because you would go from perfectly clear road to can't see pavement in the span of 5 feet
It was this, never gets old @The 4 Seasons lol:

god i cringe at the thought of the responses. Maps floating around from the NWS that have 12-18" and winter storm warnings up, and <1" of slush falls. I think ive seen that once. Think it was Jan 13-14 2008
That was probably a storm that had sleet. 06-07 and 07-08 had a lot of changeover events. You should make one of those GIFs of the last six cycles of the Euro so we can see how full on Ron Washington it's been.

These moves by the euro are kind of stunning.
Somebody post the verification scores. I’m sure it nailed the H5 pattern off the coast of Madagascar though
Hey there's a reason it ain't proprietary anymore

No. March 2003 was pretty mild, no?
Not sure about temps...I know it was AN snow here. Perhaps Will has more insight? Maybe it's not a good analog seeing as that was a great winter.

I was looking it up but didn't see anything. How was March 2003?
It had a few moderate events as I recall.

We said this yesterday for CT. 6-9 along the coast, 10-14 north of the plain. All those maps need to be jacked.
Widespread 10-14 is a dangerous call just based on the forward speed of this system
