  1. Highs in the teens, midday, in N/W Texas mid next week. A taste of SUMMER for us.
  2. It is going to dump the artic down into the S/W USA.
  3. The Ole 'Inland Hurricane in the Dakota's' kick in rear.
  4. We are probably going to have the cold around just need the High to better position itself a bit further North so it allows a SLP to thread the needle late weekend.
  5. Bring a few sheckles. Car of 4 gets a little pricey. The lake and lake walk are so similar that I frequently have to think about which one I am at when walking around it. Greenbrier Hours of Operations: 8 a.m. to sunset Day-use Admission Fee: Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day Weekends and holidays: Maryland residents $5/person; out-of-state residents $7/person Weekdays: Maryland residents $3/person; out-of-state residents $5/person Labor Day to Memorial Day Maryland residents $3/vehicle: out-of-state residents $5/vehicle Weekends in May and September: Maryland residents $3/person; out-of-state residents $5/person
  6. I was referring to the threat for next Weekend. It's not even really a cutter....its a nothing and the High goes Bye.
  7. This really begs to ask the question....which is more likely to come true....JB's forecast or seeing the Easter bunny? I sort of wasted my post 4000 on this. LOL
  8. Starting to think the warm walks may have to wait at least one day. Full sunshine here and still only up to 29.
  9. Glad to hear it. 3 days that may hit 70 this week.
  10. Do not usually have time to watch temp's and compare models but, at least outside the urban areas, the CMC did quite well with forecasting that temps would be in the teens for many.
  11. Made it to 18 this Am. Cash's' rig is not reporting again but he was 22 before midnight.
  12. Yea, its beautiful. There is another SP in MD very much like Cowans Gap when it comes to the lake, trail, and beach. Greenbrier SP near Hagerstown. We do usually enter Cowans Gap the way you suggested...turning onto the access road off route 30 at the peak of the chain there. That drive alone is worth the time. When up there Friday that area still had 4-8" of solid, full snow cover.
  13. That lake I was at, Cowans Gap SP, added 3" of ice since Thursday. Wowzer.
  14. 7-11" in the LSV on the 18Z GFS. LOL. Much of the MA as well (not the 2-5" mentioned down there).
  15. Fringed! Hopefully the Tolleris 2021 Storm focuses some of the better accums down my way. ECS jackpots part of Texas again.
  16. DT is so "Go Big or Go home" but he really corralled himself in with the comment about a snow shower in WVA or WPA. Any accumulating snow and he goes broke.
  17. You score in CAD situations over me but I guess the elevation does well in NW winds from last night. Yea, it is yet again cold today. One of the colder feeling stretches of the winter due to the wind.
  18. The curse of DT did not take long to strike on the 12Z GFS for next weekend. Classic.
  19. The risk of Significant Winter's Over Exaggerations are always increased when coming from people who live in S/E VA.
  20. He just looks for opportunities to make risky calls. It is who he is. Like Duh...
  21. Fairly heavy frost over here. Keep the grass at bay so it does not get damaged by the mid March cold snap.
