  1. Just looked at Wunderground. Rou'ville is up to 79 now and the majority of the West Shore and back is in the mid to upper 70's but you Easterners holding in the upper 60's and low 70's. Our Pittsburgh friend was right as they are over 80.
  2. We have had some clouds roll in and stuck at 77.
  3. You guys are going to fight off the heatmiser today it appears. Not sure if I get 80 but upper 70's are a given IMO.
  4. On the 12Z Nam, the temp at MDT stays between 44 and 46 degrees from Friday AM until Saturday AM. 2 degrees in movement in 24 hours.
  5. I have a much better chance over here than you do. The SR models definitely show a NE component pressing in and keeping Easterners less hot.
  6. Now you are talking. Does not look dry over here yet but it can change in a matter of a day or two like today with a lot of sun (over this way at least) and temps in the 80's.
  7. Doesn't the weekend still look fairly wet? I did not scan through everything but it looks to me that after our heat today (80?) we have a couple moist and cool days then a bit more heat followed by a long period of cool and moist. PS-Thank Goodness the Boston Baseball Red Sox have arrived and are back.
  8. Might not break 50 at MDT on Friday. Keep the long pants within reach even if WFH. LOL
  9. The GFS punting Mid Spring (a week ago ) was off after its grand victory of getting the last freeze right.
  10. Grab a siesta and have a pop out there while we drink a soda over here :-). We are up to 74 here at my locale.
  11. I was thinking there is a chance because it will probably not get below 50 tonight so just the airmass with no sun is going to be 70ish you would think. The 12Z hrrr really depicted the "clouds will win" path though keeping it in the 60's.
  12. Definitely seems a little hit or miss until Sunday (GFS).
  13. Hopefully you are not back posting pictures of brown turf like last year (hopefully for you and me).
  14. I think we both live in a potential sweet spot for that common Miller A like track. West of us is usually too far west and too far east it more often taint town though those Easterners have the potential for those old fashioned off the shore situations that have not materialized much in the last few years.
  15. Certainly if it all came in a short period. I never want to have 50" of snow to shovel.
  16. I see snow on the GFS :-) PS-55"ish for my total.
  17. Met Spring is 10 days away from being half over so winter will be here before you know it :-).
  18. Had some light frost in Pen Mar. Second morning in a row.
  19. I did not get out of my car in that section so did not see the Beavers but the large mud pit shocked me a bit. I did not notice it when driving by there a couple months ago. Was probably talking or something.
  20. On the 12Z Euro, MDT breaches 60 this Thursday then fails to get over that temp the rest of the run through the next Thursday. At the start of that period, into the weekend, the highs and low all stay between 50 and 59 and then the second half of that period the temps stay between 43 and 50 the entire time.
  21. Scary times. I was with my family stationed out of the country (dad in the Military) so I was watching from afar. I was 11. I understand that dozens of unfortunate children were born with birth defects from the radiation.
  22. When you pay your electric bill each summer month you do get to chuckle at us a bit.
  23. Surreal. Some people probably thought they were leaving their homes for good...Chernobyl style.
