We received about .5 inches Sunday afternoon and evening so not sure I am going to buy this map which shows zero? I do realize the rain we got Saturday overnight is not included.

I have had to heat the house several times this week.

And you are much lower than we are over here. We got up to 60 yesterday. But yea several models have been showing little temp change for a lot of this week.

The latest OP runs of the EC and GFS are fairly similar in what the eventual apparent weather would be for far NE PA and SE NY. They are probably get excited or worried up there. Euro is a bit slower and south of GFS right now.

Met's would love to go with that. Cloudy with a chance of snow. Accumulations will range from a couple inches to several inches. Literal and not at the same time :-).

We had accumulating snow in May last year. Not sure anyone thinks we get a killing snow at any point now. That gfs depiction of 2 to 3 feet was a unique and rare sight for an April snow map. I doubt any snow now bothers the plants. Temps in the low 20's would be painful I guess. But it went down to 21 here twice in the last two weeks and nothing seems too damaged albeit its still not in growing season apparently as nws did not issue a freeze warning.

It's almost Florida hot in the sun right now. Feels like 90ish but humidity not too bad. Real Temp is 77. Some precip blossoming in Western PA.

It was my fault. I replied to an EC post and did not mention GFS until I went back and edited it. The rain woke me up at 4AM and I could not get back to sleep so I was tired and posted with out all the info :-).

Looking at Wunderground it looks like Western areas of the LSV are coming in between 1 and 1.5". Healthy rain. Need it for the dryer week coming up. At least it will not be above normal temps this time around with the dry. Does not hit 60 at MDT on the GFS until 10 days out (after today).

That's because you are looking at yesterday's 18Z run of the EC. Lollipops of 30+" on the GFS. I should have specified.

Quick 18-24 inches on the NW periphery of that spinning and retrograding gyre on today's 6Z GFS. Rare for a mid April snow map.
