  1. This does bring up an interesting stat. The "latest" it has ever hit 80 at MDT is Nov 2nd, 1971. Another interesting stat, December 29th, 1974 was warmer than any day from Nov 21 until the end of that month and is only matched by the 75 on December 7, 1998 as to closing out the year after 11/21.
  2. Nice, it always snows in Cashtown so it will be used. Not within 5 degrees of any records but not fall like the week after next.
  3. Have I not been talking beer enough for your liking? LOL
  4. Verbatim a possible 80's day next week for HIA then some more possible 80's the following week. Low 80's. No 90's. Lots of 50's and 60's days next week due to rain. Normals are dropping fast now so 80's is pretty drastic. Normal high for Oct 13th is 67.
  5. You know things are not great when we are hoping for the EC to be savior on temps.
  6. That is the perfect word for that model run mid and late. It shows no signs of doing anything except keeping itself parked where it is.
  7. Candersons family could let a helium filled balloon go and it would end up going over us. Fresh South Texas air headed this way (later in the GFS).
  8. GFS puts a flaming bag of dog poop on our door and punts much of October. People who mow grass for a living are jumping in joy.
  9. LOL. That is where I found it. I have this inane (insane?) need to be helpful sometimes.
  10. I looked up the 2902 and its below. Set Mode Press and hold the SET button for two seconds to enter the SET Mode. To proceed to the next setting, press (do not hold) the SET button. To exit the SET mode at any time, press the LIGHT / SNOOZE button. Figure 15 summarizes the set mode sequence and commands.
  11. LOL, so your records are going to be funny. Lots of midnight highs.
  12. That is a good 6-7" more than over here. We are still in a 3" deficit for the year if my figures are right. At one point we were 12" under. correction, 8" under going into August.
  13. Some day when Paweather, and myself are without heat in sub zero weather you are going to come on here and say "10 degrees under full sun" and make us feel like sh$t. LOL.
  14. TT is having a bad week. Not a complaint as much as an observation, as I am not a patron, but 3 days now where the model page is either not usable or simply not accessible. Still its free.
  15. And that makes sense of course. Have the areas official temp readings beside a Sauna and at the end of the runway where the jets blow on them.
  16. The on call met has to go out and blow warm air on the device. Lol
  17. The HIA has two chances to get into the 40's coming up. Maybe some Allegiant planes cancel and they make it under 50.
  18. I hear ya. And I was more pointing out that the NWS could have had it in their forecast a little more strongly vs. suggesting you dropped the ball. LOL.
  19. Here was the 3K from Monday AM showing the scatted storms and general rain showers Tuesday AM. Cannot count on it to point point exact locations with cells. The HRRR had a similar look 24 hours prior.
  20. Red Sox look like they want to back their way in or just go home. Phil's fall short but put up a better fight than the Sox are right now.
