  1. He did go too gung ho on last weekend. Had the 50 word in there.
  2. Did you enter the contest in the MA guessing the first date one hits 70? All the dates I saw were weeks from now.
  3. Surface temps for Euro when main area of precip is over PA. HRRR is mostly rain for the LSV.
  4. The CMC's take on the extreme cold is the one after this weekend. Monday night. One could argue we are getting extreme cold at the expense of losing a snow storm.
  5. And the "coldest (or close to it) temps of the season are upcoming in the next week" pile.
  6. You are definitely not in the "just rain" area. GFS has you ending as rain but most models have you experiencing a fairly decent winter storm either way (as of now).
  7. I just saw this map but the 2M temps are near 30 for much of this (28-32) which still makes me wonder how bad it would actually be. Mid 20's? Then we have issues. Up your way a tad colder.
  8. This is why Training hustled his family into the car when MJS was heading toward them.
  9. I vote yes but even you could end as rain per the GFS.
  10. If you mean Sunday, it actually took a small step in the right direction. Still not really close though.
  11. Technically, it would be for many on this map but this similar map has been shown a few days out several times this year...and has never come to pass. So caveats... Little to no snow for most of the LSV on the GFS. Heck, not much snow for most of PA.
  12. Doncic looked uninterested in the AS game. He played less defenses than anyone else...which was hard to do.
  13. You have two choices....punch yourself in the mouth or try to follow the math nerd technobabble below. Choose wisely! There is a negative 00, it just happens to be equal to the normal zero. For each real number aa, we have a number −a−a such that a+(−a)=0a+(−a)=0. So for 00, we have 0+(−0)=00+(−0)=0. However, 00 also has the property that 0+b=b0+b=b for any bb. So −0=0−0=0 be canceling the 00 on the left hand side. Share Cite Follow answered Feb 7, 2014 at 17:18 Dylan Yott 6,7962020 silver badges3737 bronze badges 7 -1. Zero is neither positive nor negative. The definition of positive (resp. negative) is that a>0a>0 (a<0a<0), and it's obvious that 00 satisfies neither. – YoTengoUnLCD Sep 5, 2016 at 13:41 @YoTengoUnLCD you are rigth. – Jorge B. Feb 8, 2017 at 17:00 @YoTengoUnLCD When the answer says "negative zero," it is referring to the inverse of zero under addition, not literally a zero that is negative. – Dominick Pastore Oct 15, 2020 at 19:18
  14. Yea, but when have you seen a - (negative) Zero? Is negative zero colder or warmer than "positive zero".
  15. @pawatch @Wmsptwx, you will have to let us know what that circled temp feels like. In the meantime, Math Teachers will frown at it.
  16. Speaking of night and day, today's 0Z EC vs yesterday's 12Z (for late weekend). Does have something to watch for Mar 2/3.
  17. Thought maybe one of my enemies grabbed hold of your account. Some people like to call other people funny names to make themselves feel better about their own lives. LOL.
