    The HRRR does have a "squall looking" line move through with the cold front. Just before or around lunch. Temps are not ideal.

    He might be right and the models wrong. Unless he means a spike in temps on S/W winds as the next front approaches. One could easily argue that the best part of winter, for the LSV, is still coming.

    We peaked at 62 but down to 57 and thickening clouds right now. MDT snuck in a midnight/1AM low so no low high records today either.

    CMC is a bit displaced West but again, Oh my. The worst of winter cold would still be coming if the MR suites are correct this afternoon.

    Oh my! The CMC will wreck us if it has similar conditions to the GFS on this morning. Of course none of this is model diagnosis vs. big picture comments that Spring appears to have Spring (a leak) on MR depictions.

    @Itstrainingtime, this could potentially cause your date with Harden and Big Ben East to be delayed! It's called and in the books but paweather has not released the date yet.

    To me, a worse winter is a warm one. A warm winter with 20" of snow is worse than this one so far. But definitely understand your opinion.
