    Hello! Are they snow storms? Could you send one over this way 'Statue of Liberty' style? We are having a bit of a spring fling this week here but punishing cold keeps showing up for next week into March.

    Well, its mostly sleet or frz being counted as snow when you compare the pivotal map. And this is both systems for the weekend.

    Actually far S/E LSV does get into the heavier stuff as it slides by! Kuch for late weekend event

    Light snow breaks out Sunday AM in the LSV on the GFS. Main shield is going to slide south of us though.

    All together, GFS still advertising a decent period of sleet and FRZ for the LSV. Overnight though. Above freeing by Friday AM. The damn cold next weekend. Would be MDT's low for the season.

    To me it does not look particularly interesting for my neck of the woods right now. Only Monday though.

    Nam has the paweather 540 line in Northern PA heading into Thursday evening....much farther North than some of the good GFS runs. (Unfortunately)

    No doubt, it just was not a good look on Pivotal Euro output. Surface temps were above 30 the entire time and rose to the mid 40's middle of the day Friday. Hoping for something more interesting than that.

    As you probably saw on the map I posted, the Pivotal panels are not as enthusiastic as these maps you posted. Actually has rain North of MDT at 114. That was my issue with the situation. If its so close that it is rain on some panels and frz on another, its not going to be a big deal.

    Euro does make up for it, as to tracking, for next weekend. Parade of storms.

    Euro is still mostly a nothing burger for the LSV. A very slight improvement from 0Z if looking for LSV ice. Mostly rain or light/borderline too warm frz. Concentrates the ice storm in Northern PA.
