  1. Ditto here! (24). Cashtown is 25 so not everyone is 24. LOL.
  2. Perfect timing as my mulch will be going down soon. Higher accums in the 'Ville.
  3. Everyone who is everyone knows you have your place up for sale right now so I knew that was not your mulch.
  4. Martins is the other name for Giant. Giant's in Southern PA are named Martins. You must not have a long history of going to fairs in PA. Most have awards for the best chow chow.
  5. I was no where near 70 the other day so we seem to take turns. Ha. It is windy as heck out. Gusts in the 30's.
  6. Ha. If it comes out of the sky and is frozen. it goes into the seasonal total; thus the snow reports in August as we discussed last summer. LOL.
  7. If you get 1.5" of sleet in June you can tally that up to your seasonal total as well per NWS rules. Ha.
  8. Maybe white mulch to really show your intentions?
  9. How long before someone mulches over their whole yard in an effort to score more accums?
  10. Mulch is the great winter saver. If only roads counted, we would be right up there with the worst winter ever now. Have only had 4-6" accumulate on roads so far.
  11. I was always suspect of those 1"+ ice maps (though not sure they are accretion vs. saying 1" of the rain would be below freezing) but surprised if things in the Laurels are not a mess.
  12. The little sleet we received has staying power. It is 38 now and still lots of white on mulch.
  13. Decent rain here and 32. We did get some sleet overnight so mulch is white...some roofs. Roads just wet but its 32 so I guess that is expected. Still fun to see some white.
  14. Latest HRRR. I think this does end up being quite newsworthy in at least the outlined area.
  15. Moderate rain and 32 here now. Some sleet on the patio so there was sleet at the very start. Some icing on elevated surfaces. I can hear the rain from inside so its actually coming down pretty good.
  16. And 1500 to 2000' feet elevation :-). They are saturated at this point though.
  17. 31/29 here. Wundermap shows the Catoctins are really primed for a good glazin if its rain and not sleet.
  18. I am not calling anything I was responding to Carlisle saying the models were downscaling. No way there is 1/2 to 1" ice accretion when the temp is near freezing. That is all.
  19. I hate to be a broken record but I think its incredibly hard to have a significant icing event unless temps are starting in the low to mid 20's (assuming WAA warming is why it is ice and not snow).
