    Kuch is ignoring the 2M temps a bit. Quite high. It is lower that 10-1 though. That is going to be a lot of snow TV/white rain but I also beleive that if rates happen, 35 or below will be fine for slush to set a base for accums even on roads....with rates.

    Yea, similar thing here. at 5AM I looked and then again around 7:30 and I thought something was broken. Like a damn that had burst. I made my more definitive comment about today and the record after looking at the HRRR having MDT into the 30's at midnight. If it ends up being as close as you are thinking then I better make my comment sound a little less certain. Off to edit now.

    Record high low may be missed this time. Colder Sunday Am and Monday evening could take away both days.

    I think the stakes were raised a bit when the Nam starting show a WSW level event (for the mulch at least) in Central VA. Everything about it's depiction was a paste bomb. No sleet in these totals. Reposted this to show it in TT where it is even more impressive looking.

    He (MU) is sounds like a weenie at heart so I bet he would gladly be wrong to get some snow. Those 2m temps really need to do down for Wed to be anymore more than a mulch bomb.

    18Z GFS caved to the CMC for Sat but lots of snow TV Wed. If it happens, Canderson is going to be so pissed to see it snowing in 3 days. LOL.

    We have never had one. Had a fire ring in Florida but nothing up here so far. It's a cheap Walmart thing. I do have a KFC log to burn and make the neighborhood hungry.

    The latest HRRR had you getting to the 74-75. The one I am using for verification was 72-73. It had a sharp cutoff for MDT just to your north using the soundings. It was erroneous in doing that. It had me getting to 65. We were never going to get much over 70 out west of the South Mountains. Just curious if we get the rain it keeps say will start in an hour or two.

    66 here and falling...HRRR did well over here. Will see how it does with its final MDT call. It's going to be at least a few degrees too cool. (Edit-73 at MDT).

    We were at 56 before 7am. Only 61 now though. 70 may be a stretch here with the thick cloud cover. Hrrr has a ton of rain down here this afternoon. 3k not so much.

    Very windy. New Wunderground map shows who has fallen to the south. The North still holds the Capital.
