    It was a lot of people hyping it so not really pointing at him other than your comment about your kids. You were just passing on info :-). But I will also agree that it has never snowed super hard today. No puking fatties, or 2" an hour rates. It snowed much harder in other events earlier this winter. March '93 this is not. LOL.

    Well MU told you to stay off the roads. LOL. I will say that I thought some of this did get overblown a bit as to Blizzard comments....setting up a vision of a mid January day with blizzard conditions. But in the areas that did get 4-6" so far, the side roads are covered with it and not great travelling. If no drifting occurs later then the over all effect on day to day life will be greatly less worrisome than thought.

    Yea, its not exact but its not far off. I just walked out to the road and its definitely close to 5" on the grass and 4" on the driveway. I would think in a scenario where we were talking 20-30", it would not be very accurate. But I do not do a snow board so all my numbers are estimates. Going to be some tough shoveling shortly (with the wind).

    I said more than me because it snows there 3-4 hours longer than here (at the end).

    You know my measuring is approx. LOL. But the snow lays on those lights immediately and accums well in that snow cone like lump. Similar to a patio table. No melting from the ground temps.

    Well the Nam is either off its rocker, or you have plenty of snow to go. Would end up with more than me. It could be off its rocker.

    I just measured on top of this light and it was very close to 5". Have not have much accum in the last 30-60 min.

    Several heavy bands still migrating toward the LSV. HRRR keeps mod snow in Lanco until 4-5PM with the pivot of the CCB.

    May be some orographic enhancement but definite back building taking place in the highlighted area above.

    The nam really wails on the Eastern LSV through about 1PM. Final accums there 6-10"

    Yea, my wife noticed how the flake sized changed drastically the last 30 min. It's blowing a lot now as well.

    Looking at radar I think an additional 2-4" is in line for us. That is going to be some decent shoveling this afternoon.

    It's been colder over here all morning. It was already in the 20's at 6AM.

    About 4" here now. 24 degrees. Snow a bit lighter. Figure I have 2-3 more hours to go out here.

    Surprised there is no Meso Discussion. Rates over 1" an hour. 3+" now and 25 degrees.

    They are even having mid 20's weather in central Florida tomorrow night. Very uncommon in mid March but 93ish as well.
