    It seems doubtful that MDT will gain 3 degrees at this point. If they do not, we have a new record. Here are the HRRR lows for tonight. The record low of 14 (3/29) seems out of reach at MDT...Pillow may be in play though.

    It's amazing some of the people standing by their cars did not die. Numbskull decisions there. Almost a total white out. People driving the speed limit on a snow covered road with no visibility.

    I would guess that many of the people on 80/81 in the area of the majority of issues are not locals.

    The trend I am seeing, for Wed AM, is lifting the threat a bit north of the LSV area AND delaying the onset but the CMC still looks fairly ominous with temps in the Mid 20's just north of the LSV (rush hour as the precip is moving in)

    It is quite anomalous. I bought heating oil last month thinking I would be going into the summer with 3/4 of a tank. I will be lucky to make 1/2 now and probably not even that with the cold April coming. A 300 dollar or so blow to my budget.

    We are already down to 29 with a wind chill of 10-15 depending on wind measurement Wind Chills could dip below five LSV wide tonight.

    I think colder places struggle to break 30 tomorrow. Not going to forecast MDT but that 35 Min Max is certainly in play.
