  1. I would use the word dying parachute or mangled to portray it. When not coming down hard it was instant water on the windshield. But it came down so hard at one point I had some accumulation going along the windshield wipers. I saw the storm that went through Taneytown....from afar. Lots of lightning and very foreboding to its look.
  2. The snow in Frederick is the most amazing thing to me. That is Central MD and not really at elevation. Not often you see snow at 50 degrees.
  3. Hearing reports of snow covered driveways in Greencastle as the next round approaches. Outside the May snow we recently had, this is a pretty amazing post Winter day over here. West LSV as well. Snow accums in Western Cumberland county. Also, rumors of a snow wrapped funnel cloud new Taneytown, MD today. Have found no confirmation of that however.
  4. The CMC might cancel school Wed (more West LSV).
  5. The graupel is accumulating a lot better than the snow. When I was down in Frederick and it was 50, the snow was breathing its last breath as it hit my windshield. That was what was amazing about the wisps blowing across the road. The rates overcame the mangled.
  6. It has the day off. Furnace is blowing like it is January! LOL
  7. I liked one pic and now it is a different pic. LOL. Tricky! Put a pic of Luka up, I like, and then you switch it for a Danny Green pic.
  8. Here is a pic over Ft Ritchie. The heavy snow at that point was just moving off to the left so not that impressive unless you look at to the far left.
  9. Wow, what a day over here. Heaviest snow of the season. Blue Ridge Summit has about 1/4" on the ground despite it being above freezing. We had the mulch covered for a bit but it melted. 36 and heavy snow right now. Impressively I was down north of Frederick, MD and they also had heavy snow. Saw snow blowing across the road with a surface temp of 50. Rates overcame the temp. It melted quickly despite the wispy snow blows that were there for a short while.
  10. Canderson looks less than pleased. His furnace is done for the season.
  11. Blizz must be sleeping one off. Saturday AM with Blizz is usually as consistent as PBS Am Weather. Wed Rush Hour nightmare. School delays at the end of March.
  12. We are certainly not closing the curtain with a short pump bullseye. Paw paw on alert.
  13. The are peculiar folks. Canderson would be drilled for weeding in February and revered for it now.
  14. I saw one model run, forget which one, that had it near 80 the day after we had a low in the teens.
  15. I think the low is a very long shot but the high, model wise, is in trouble as of current runs.
  16. Looking at the EC and CMC, I am going to have to turn off the water to my outside pipes again. @Mount Joy Snowman both the daily min max and daily min are at risk for the 28th (MDT)
  17. Two days in a row. The high here was at 9AM yesterday. It was in the 30's and raining all afternoon. MA calls it Smarch but not sure what that means.
  18. They can get to 7 as part of that play in tourney. Have to pick up 4 games on the Cavs to avoid that though.
