I scanned back and found my post a few pages ago. It was 2 degrees colder than the 0Z when I posted so 18 or 19 for the LSV. MDT's low is 23 or 24 for it was 3-5 degrees too cold 18 hours out.
I can only go back to the 0Z from yesterday which was 20-22 for you. It may have been a little lower in earlier runs. I posted something yesterday that was lower but forget if it was the HRRR.
The high here at 25 is pretty much unheard of for a non major snow storm day approaching April. Winter has 2 to 3 more weeks of time with us though. Lol.
It seems doubtful that MDT will gain 3 degrees at this point. If they do not, we have a new record. Here are the HRRR lows for tonight. The record low of 14 (3/29) seems out of reach at MDT...Pillow may be in play though.
It's amazing some of the people standing by their cars did not die. Numbskull decisions there. Almost a total white out. People driving the speed limit on a snow covered road with no visibility.
The trend I am seeing, for Wed AM, is lifting the threat a bit north of the LSV area AND delaying the onset but the CMC still looks fairly ominous with temps in the Mid 20's just north of the LSV (rush hour as the precip is moving in)
