  1. 5.2 total here. Nws forecast 500 feet to my south was way over blown but CTP had 4-7 here so in the range. My calls from Sunday were too high across the board.
  2. Probably not an issue in your hood but tonight and tomorrow are going to feature some drifted road hazards in rural areas.
  3. I am not unhappy or jealous just pointing out how well the ULL/Coastal action congealed for them. I would expect to see some 2-3" extra totals west of Baltimore.
  4. @Chris78 hopefully you scored nicely over the last 2 hours. I have some elevation over you but have to believe you got 1/2-1"?
  5. Just measured about 1" on an area I had totally cleared. The plows are out and about again. Moderate snow continues but only one more band left. That is still nothing compared to some SE of here are getting with round 2.
  6. I am going to have to shovel again tomorrow AM unless what is on radar peters out.
  7. MDT records .9" of snow per wgal. That is not what was posted before so not sure. Cashtown's report was on Wgal. Highest numbers were 4" in C-Burg and 3.8 in Greencastle.
  8. The pictures they showed had the roads completely covered again to the tune 1/4-1/2"
  9. Pics from Harrisburg make it appear probably already adding a one quarter to one half inch as of now.
  10. Waynesboro just threw down a 2 Hour delay. WGAL really tooting horn on blowing and drifting snow tonight and tomorrow.
  11. Roads coated again. Probably quite dangerous now.
  12. If that radar presentation holds together, Harrisburg could soon be seeing Mod- Heavy Snow during rush hour.
  13. Agreed, I just did not see that happening with that 500H panel on the Nam.
  14. Radar does look good. Snow has commenced here albeit light so far.
  15. Hanover Toyota just told me they are closing early due to the ULL coming through (not joking)
  16. Will chime in with some others who said it, without a phase, how does that come up the coast? Not directed at your post, model discussion.
  17. Masontown to Holidaysburg band, at least on radar, seems to be putting down some snow.
  18. If you followed the posting from the last few days, Snow Showers is the new secret word to suggest good things in the snow department. Last year it was Buckle Up.
  19. Right now the best banding is setting up in True Central PA again. Probably going to retreat south but...
  20. Interesting and obvious thoughts in the MA forum. I say obvious because they are but not sure I had thought of it yet. We were so gung ho on using Kuch because of the antecedent cold air but if one looks at the 10-1 maps maybe the model outputs were a bit more realistic. QPF in Lanco was 2-3" on a lot of outputs....10-1 that is 2-3" of snow. It is almost 30 degrees here right now. Kuch may have over done it this time (sometimes Kuch is lower of course but obviously much higher up this way for this storm.)
  21. I will opine that anyone who is wrapping up the snow totals and judging forecasts off them is risking be off base. All the forecast and snow maps were for the entire storm, not just this AM.
