  1. One positive is even the clouds help slow down the dry out.
  2. Temp dropped down from 73 when the rain got close.
  3. I hope it comes over a longer period vs. downpours. Late Nooners....cloudy, windy and 69.
  4. Yea, even .10 to .25 today would store the back ward progress.
  5. The HRRR spikes things further south later into the afternoon...hopefully.
  6. Does not look too shabby model wise as of now. :-)
  7. Speaking of sun and baking, when are you going to start the summer thread for us? :-)
  8. Yea, it seems the sun can bake us in just a matter of days.
  9. Regardless of today, most guidance is promising soakers Wed Night and Early Sat.
  10. A not too shabby 54 last night was a windows open delight.
  11. Sort of a weird event with so many similar. MDT, HGR, LNS, THV all topped out at 82. Mui 81 (86 in Hanoi for Superstorm)
  12. Marysville is going to send some our way. Only 77 for the high here.
  13. WPC's storm and then 30's the following weekend?
  14. It shows you and Blizz stealing more rain from the southerners.
  15. It would be welcome....not liking the 12Z Meso's so far for early week stuff.
  16. We find that (even away from the river) when it gets hot, we prefer at least a windy day to try and keep the bugs away a bit. If a warm, calm day it is sometimes not fund to take the walk.
  17. We have to keep the mint potted otherwise it takes over. Our strawberries have been doing well here too. We have one pepper plant that we take in for the winter then bring it back out in the summer. Will be year 4 of a harvest soo...from the same plant. Not many skeeters here yet. I would think, with proximity to the Susq, you would always have more.
  18. Our potted plants/veggies are the ones that are drying out the same day I water them. Mint especially.
  19. We watered twice yesterday. In the AM and by the time we got home late afternoon, some of the veggies were wilting. Imagine in California where none of this watering can happen. Last year it was early June where I went back to mowing every other week. It almost has to rain every other day to stop it from happening.
  20. I am stuck on mow 7. If mid week does not work out, I may still be in single digits going into July. There is a small patch in the back that is more shaded and it needed a trim up but not counting that.
  21. Same time frame but 18Z. One of the hottest maps ever printed out for the MA in June. You waste so much angst when you win 9 out of 10 times in this new hot world we live in. LOL
