I am literally watching the southern wave fall apart before my eyes. Glad I have received some rain this week and this was not an uber disappointment.

The area to the N/W of Chambersburg has been trained on for quite a while now. Rain has started here but the heavy stuff is indeed not rushing in. Does not look like a lot of rain this far east at this point.

Yep, why I mentioned it in my post. 100 and a west wind. Bugs and overly excessive heat such that it sucks the component of "being near the water" out of it. You are getting the same air as Vinny in the 17th floor of the apartment 10 miles inland. Of course in Ft Myers, they want nothing to do with an East Wind.

Would you really want to be on the beach at Plus 100 if wind is coming from the west? Happy medium would be 80's :-). In Florida, smart locals were never on the beach from 11AM-6PM.

HRRR has mid 90's just to my west. For next week, not a forecast but have to say I am a fan of this trend! GFS is a full 40-50 degrees lower than that high EC map for a couple days ago.

The new Euro does not even have MDT in the 90's next week at this time. Big change over the last couple days. Still hot but more normal hot. Extreme heat is not far away just more Atlantic influence. But south and west of us, the Euro keeps predicating the heatwave is going to be front page news.

You are still very much in the game. LNS and MDT both at 86 I believe. Was it CXY, LNS and MDT you took? HGR and THV are probably not going to make it. Given this Wed something to talk about. LOL.

Superstorm would be in the clear if he just said CXY. LNS, HGR, THV, MDT all lower.
