  1. I would be surprised if nothing transpires (qpf wise) over the next two-three weeks despite the GFS depiction.
  2. The brutal cold is not my cup on tea so hard for me to root for it....but definitely with you on the look out for the next snow.
  3. One thing I have noticed is that the amount of precip is not overly heavy so glazes yes but model wise, not sure I see a ton of heavy ice accretion. But I do suspect, for those East of the mountains in the LSV, its going to take a long time to scour out.
  4. You have the challenge to put Mount Joy on that same pedestal. LOL. I do not think Cashtown has any lights after all.
  5. Just did a short drive around and drifting it quite bad. I mean its 6-7" of snow so it will not be too bad but roads are drifting over and really in much worse shape that at any point last night. 19 degrees. Cash and some others mentioned this yesterday.
  6. Yea, I fell last year, shoveling the driveway, and was lucky my head sort of missed the impact. I went down backwards just like one would imagine. Anyway, I hope the knee is just sore and not reinjured.
  7. We (you, me, Cash) were winners with that early to late evening death band. I had a supervisor out helping me shovel (push really) this Am.
  8. I thought you would have busted into the 7's. To get my 6.5 I had to measure on top up a few elevated surfaces that did not get much wind. I am guessing I only got 2" or so after going to sleep. Most of the damage was before 11.
  9. Alas, it was not me. I would put my forecasting chops up on display but not snow measuring. Too lazy with it. Congrats on being published!
  10. 6.5" here but only 2-3" on the driveway. I do not melt down but guessing I was doing 7 or 8-1 at the start and finished up with powder in the 13-1 or 15-1 range. Ratios definitely kept totals down here as over half of the snow was in the 8-1 period (my estimate).
  11. The thing that stood out to me, about Sunday, was the Nam showing real cad down into central VA. For me personally I need that to get Frz here. A big buffer. Won't sully up the boards doing a good snow storm with talking about it much more.
  12. One more model memo for the night. Additional 6" for northern lanco, Lebanon, etc....on rap.
  13. Hrrr has a similar area though about an inch less.
  14. 3.5" on a deck measuring area. Not super precise but close. About 3/4" in that last 45 min. Still not recaving streets after the rain though.
  15. Nam has frz down in central VA on Sunday am now. A wintery several days indeed.
  16. What is that? All I can see is the word perfect? Juicy ipa
  17. Hope the late modeling is right and you still have 4-5 more "
  18. You are easily going to break 7 if nothing weird happens.
