  1. Definitely looks cool and moist even if not raining all the time (as of now).
  2. Speaking of raining on a parade, the Sox would be 1/2 game out of first in the AL Central. They are 7.5 games out in the AL East.
  3. On the 12Z CMC it shows almost nonstop rain (panels but not necessarily min to min) in the LSV from Friday afternoon until Tue AM.
  4. Super Late nooners...51 and pretty chilly in the shade.
  5. The record low for tomorrow AM is 30 in 1956...just in case.
  6. I bet a lot depends on how much rain we get especially if it starts Thur night.
  7. The NWS has Friday highs in the 60's. The GFS has 40's near 50 and the CMC mid 50's. Forecast fight.
  8. I am going to go with 33 for you tonight. We shall see how close I get. 28 for Pillow....34 MDT. Freeze watch in MD for counties bordering York and west.
  9. Despite covering stuff we still got damage. I suspect the ground temps were in the 20's.
  10. RGEM is 1-3 degrees colder tomorrow AM vs. this AM. On the plus side for models, the GFS and CMC both still have a soaking rain starting Thur night (Fri on CMC) and running through the weekend.
  11. That'll cost your $5...copyright infringement!
  12. A frosty 30 this AM. If this plays out like expected, tomorrow Am could be ugly.
  13. Just spent 45 min covering and moving stuff. We bit into the 'Winter is gone for good" mantra (well the female side of the family did.) URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service State College PA 1252 PM EDT Sun Apr 23 2023 PAZ019-025>028-034>036-045-046-049>053-056>058-063>065-240500- /O.NEW.KCTP.FR.Y.0002.230424T0400Z-230424T1300Z/ Southern Centre-Blair-Huntingdon-Mifflin-Juniata-Bedford-Fulton- Franklin-Southern Clinton-Southern Lycoming-Union-Snyder-Montour- Northumberland-Columbia-Perry-Dauphin-Schuylkill-Cumberland-Adams- York- Including the cities of State College, Altoona, Huntingdon, Mount Union, Lewistown, Mifflintown, Bedford, McConnellsburg, Chambersburg, Lock Haven, Williamsport, Lewisburg, Selinsgrove, Danville, Sunbury, Shamokin, Bloomsburg, Berwick, Newport, Harrisburg, Hershey, Pottsville, Carlisle, Gettysburg, and York 1252 PM EDT Sun Apr 23 2023 ...FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 9 AM EDT MONDAY... * WHAT...Temperatures as low as 33 will result in frost formation. * WHERE...Portions of central Pennsylvania. * WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM EDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Near-ground freezing temperatures could kill uncovered sensitive outdoor vegetation. 14. We get this to work out and we can pull the drought talk (along with a Soak this coming Friday).
  15. The race is on now to see how much of the average high MDT can chop off to close the month. They are currently number one by .4 degrees at 58.7. The GFS and CMC both have MDT in the 30's or 40's every night to close the month with a couple days in the low to mid 60's for highs but more 50's for 1PM temps. Will probably get over 60 some of the 50's 1PM days. The average looks to come well down from the current number 1 spot.
  16. Low of 38 last night. 46 right now. This AM's GFS is quite wet Thur and Friday this week. 1/2-1"
  17. Now on to the forst, potted plant and pet warnings.
  18. Will leave April with 3 mows. I think I am ahead of last year's pace.
  19. Some NWS reports as of latest readings I saw: THV: 2.01" MDT: 1.43" CXY: 1.01" LNS .50" HGR: .29"
  20. Yep, going to be some grass growing even with potential frost.
  21. I had thought you would have scored more but still not too shabby. I bet we see some varied totals like THV reporting a crazy 2+". The line really sparked up for central and eastern LSV.
