I should have taken a picture of the entrance but they have not plowed or anything even down at the beginning of the Front Royal area before the guard/gate. They did not get get that much snow down here so did not even think to check. Was going to look at some of the "ice walls" where the water is coming out of the mountain along the roads. I have been in the Caverns near Hummelstown and it was cool, may feel chilly right now. Never in Luray at this point.

There are the skyline caverns right here but my wife does not like that type of stuff. We did drive down to the Shenandoah River state park and look around. We had never stopped there

I was figuring 12-15:1 with .6" qpf losing only .1" qpf before it was cold enough. Really hard to extrapolate with the smoothing and lack of details.

Timing is 12-24 hours off the Euro Ai but Gem also has a snow storm next weekend. GFS AI was leading the was on this one but has now reverted off it right when some other suites join. GFS AI is only been run randomly so hard to follow trends on it.

@mitchnickisn't the Euro AI a flush snow storm next weekend? Folded to the Canadian. 6Z next Sunday went from near 50 in the middle of the night Sat night (2 runs ago) to 2-4" snow, with more earlier on Sat, and upper 20's. It's your baby so thought I would ask.

Down to 8 here so far. Really cold to the east on wundermap. Below zero just north of Harrisburg and a lot of 0-5 south of town. Mt Joy, E-Town, Mount Wolf all on the Cusp of a Wundermap below zero night. Myra taking it on the chin. Most of Gettysburg area hovering around 0 right now as well. MDT down to 2 or 3 and THV -2 or -3.
