For anyone who misses out today, 3K, HRRR and Rgem all have more rain over night so hold out hope...I am. And if it does not work out, more early yard watering tomorrow. LOL. That front sweeping through 65-70 level DP air on Wed has a high potential for all of us IMO.

The key all summer has to be make complaints the morning before you get rain. It works well for some. Not ob's...ob's are great but do not bring the rain. More "I am not getting rain today and that is final" posts. LOL

My maple trees are about 20-25% turned in some manner. No falling leaves yet but will probably be bare by October. Oak's not turning yet.

Truely a day of North v South again. I suspect some areas of North PA have 4-6X what the lesser Southern PA spots have Did someone say they had over 70" this year? Some areas of south PA have not broken 15" for the year yet.

I personally would take a quarter inch of rain at this point.....that would double my last 5 weeks and give us a good soaking. Do not need the severe.

We had two gusts in the 50's here. We pulled some of our "taller potted vegetation" in as they could have snapped. No storms here either and little to no rain.

Paw Paw WV bagged 1.25" this afternoon and evening. Maybe there is some credence to living in that area. They now have over 35" for the year.

I do not mean to sound whiney, just doing obs. Hopefully you did well. I had a spotter report .69" in East Central Adams. All in 25 min.

Like usual the valley to our left/west dried it out as it approached. It did fine on the ridges to our East. We are in the unfortunate position over having two of the taller peaks in or near PA close together but a valley in between which acts to limit precip. It shows up in models all the time. Some people in Adams reporting over 1/2".

Second one this week giving me 7 on the year. That may wrap up the 90's until next spring/summer.

That is why I have almost totally stopped looking at the Euro precip maps. If I am going to spend time looking at crap, I will spend my time buying American and look at the GFS crap. I hope we get back to a more believable experience once we get away from convective only events.

Just watered...03 not cutting it. Did help to have less sun though. Fingers crossed for this weekend. Sort of muggy 66.

Just heard Thunder from that area coming into Adams which is showing a little sign of life.
