    Yes, get to the sleet line but not pass it. 2" an hour rates. Surprised you are only at 1.5". We are definitely at 3" now (ruler). Not much wind.

    Thanks. Hopefully she makes it safely. The HRRR changes us both to sleet for a period just before lunch. The orientation of the sleet line it sw to ne.

    Reading the MA thread there is taint much closer than expected. Frederick is freezing rain. Seems there may be taint up into S/E Lancaster county now.

    Snow still stretches out into Kentucky (though if a coastal starts to form that could go poof at some point) so no sign of it ending any time soon.

    That is the first time I noticed it pushing some of the 36+ dBZ returns near us and it really gets into in areas of the LSV to the east.

    True but not reality anymore unless we take away the drugs. The AFD's themselves are littered with model references now. 20-30 years ago a model was rarely mentioned but now the AFD's are as much a model run down vs. meteorology.

    This board may deflate though. When within a week of an event the every 6 hours makes the bread here. LOL.

    We probably could do much better seeing one model run per day up until 48 hours then 2 a day. So many forecasts are wrong by using model watching...myself included.
