hey PSU---you mentioned a few days ago that its alarming that in those years...where NYC got amazing snow total and we got a bit above average--that should of done alot better. I dont think it was temp related. I think most storms where NYC got crushed and we got nothing was Miller B's. Unless its a Miller B....usually we are in the same game as NYC. We cant do much about Miller Bs..its pretty much based on luck of your location lol---and not really climate change
I hate this time of year. We work so hard to get to winter and then it’s over just like that. Despite a crazy historic subpar year…it was fun not tracking anything with you guys!
I am okay with the no snowstorm part....most of my fun with this hobby is tracking more than snow being on the ground. What i am not okay with was that there was nothing to track. 99% of our threats died by day 8. the few that made it through died at 120 hours. We never got with 84 hours of accumulating snow. Nobody made a forecast map. Bob Chill did a hit run...said this would be a good winter and then we never heard from him again. Same with HM. We didnt even get a threat for freezing rain or sleet...we never even had a chance to bust. There was not a storm to forecast...ever...not even close.
my most hated term now outside of quarterback room, running back room, etc is atmospheric river. The Jet seems like its a problem every year...too strong/fast for a ridge to hold
it does...when its showing snow for us. For the march 4 storm...inside of 120 hours euro moved from off the Carolina to coast to Ohio. Did you forget that?
