Even 1-3" would be good. Just to get that feel we're on the right track.
We're in a major funk right now.Cloudy/chilly/cold/ rain...repeat. And today we have fog...
That's just too nice. I feel like we're light years away from seeing anything remotely close to that within the 24hr range. Everything is a week+ out and fails..
Man, just realized it's approaching almost 2 months since our Nov snowstorm. Boy, we really pissed away some valuable snow potential days with nothing to show and still nothing definite looking into the future.
I remember when I was in grade school we had this thing called the "phone tree". One or more parents were notified by the school that they were close. Those parents called other parents who called other parents and so on. It was a joke of a system because one missing link (parent) would screw everything up...
I'm sick of this winter already...nothing is lining up correctly or being pushed ahead. Before you know it we are in February w/nothing to show. (besides Nov storm) This cold and rain crap is getting old real quick as well...
Believe it or not I still remember my grade/high school closing numbers from 30-35 years ago.
St Joseph 766
Archbishop Wood 761
On the flip side, someone could tell me their name and 10 minutes later I would forget and feel like an idiot. I always sucked remembering names...
I got screwed on that many times. (Not doing homework) The next morning I would listen to KYW1060 announcing school closings and they would skip right over my number while talking 100 miles an hour. Went to catholic school who were hard asses about giving us a snow day. Meanwhile my friends went to public school and had a snow day with just flurries...
For me, probably my age, but damn, cold, damp rainy days suck any more for my body and nothing to show for it (snow)...lol.
Can the weather Gods throw us a bone/hope? Real hope, not 384hr hope...
*Yeah, I know banter...
Well, chilly/cold rain moving in from the West in a bit.
In years past I wanted cold regardless of rain/snow.....screw that, glad tomorrow will be mild.
Looking at the radar loop while mooching WaWa's free WiFi...it appears this thing is wrapping around. Philly and surrounding burbs seem to be in the mix for quite a bit.
*Off topic but went to visit my parents early....4am (they're old and get up super early...lol) Power outages in Horsham...weather related...who knows?? The whole neighborhood was pitch dark...
