  1. This would be good. Not that means all that much but any summer outlooks yet?
  2. I'm thinking about discussing if the Phils will sign Harper to make it a well rounded threat...may as well make it screwed up much like this winter.
  3. I turn the big 50 this coming Fall (Oct)...seen you did this several years ago. I have/had tons of shiet going on so that's probably part of the reason I'm not as much involved as normal. Maybe enter weenie mode at some point again (not this year). Snow storms used to be on top of my list by far and still are to an extent but severe weather/t-storms are catching up. I would quit winter right now in exchange for a below normal temp summer w/above average t-storms. (Not a likely combination)
  4. Nov storm will most likely (a good chance) be our best storm...lol. It's almost etched in stone that early snowfall (before Dec) equals crappy winter. (probably some exceptions, not sure)
  5. The older I get the more I find tracking storms far out a complete waste of time unless it's your career. This year really proves it. Yeah, it's a hobby and may stimulate the brain or not (stress) but can't be good for the eyes (starring at the screen) gut or sleep pattern. Maybe I'm just in a rut...or Mother Nature/models are just F'en with us.
  6. Oddly enough I always say "it is what it is"....hmmm.
  7. Ahhh...yeah. That's one helluva dry slot. It doesn't really matter since that batch will be plain rain....
  8. There's not much precip left... Rainy, misty, damp breezy, feels much colder than the temp...33F
  9. JB is trash....his name should be blocked on this site. And LOL to the second bold.
  10. Congrats. We're probably in the same age range and to piss away time (and stress...believe it or not) for nothing is stupid. Hell, if I was retired and had a boat-load of money...it would be a cool but a tad stressful hobby but still cool. Unfortunately I'm not rich... If you like weather, you have to get yourself more involved w/T-Storms during the Spring/Summer rather than hibernate. They are quite fun. There's no 7-10 day outlook (for the most part) ...just potential. Sitting on the back deck (enjoying a cold one) hearing that distant rumble of thunder moving in, checking radar and seeing a bunch of "red" is pretty cool. No question winter/snow rules but there are other avenues...
  11. Admit it....you can't help yourself!!! (kidding) I'm glad I've been super-mega-ultra busy this winter. If I had the time to look at every model I would have jumped through the window by now, just pure torture. It's like getting smacked in the face every 6 hours...carry on Ralph and watch out for the glass. (Steve)
  12. In Warrington, Bucks county currently....maybe a 1/2" or so...snowing lightly. Another burst should be arriving soon....28F.
  13. I'll go out of my way to predict more than last Sat into Sun storm around here...those damn flakes were so small! I'm outside now and just looking at the radar around Pitt and my (becoming more cloudy skies above)...I'll beat last weekend.
  14. My nails are still in the toolbox. Won't start my official nailing till tomorrow... *Off topic a bit, anyone have any insight (weather) on the Pats at KC Sunday at 6:40pm?
