  1. More and more sun appearing...have a shot to crack 70F. 63F / DP 58F
  2. I usually go to US Gas in Horsham (across the street from the former base) when I visit the area which is quite often. Pay w/cash to receive the discounted price...
  3. It's already $7 in some parts of California...
  4. 42F here, 59F in Dover so the warmth is nearby. Gusty winds today/Monday and if we're lucky maybe a T-storm late tomorrow afternoon...
  5. I think we'll hit at least $4.50 at some point, if not $5.00? We're not even in driving season yet.(Memorial day and further) I remember putting $20 in the tank back in the day and you're good for a while. Me/20gal tank $100.00 pretty soon...
  6. Ridiculous. Filled up on Wed @ $3.79....never seen gas prices jump so quick.
  7. Winter-ish tomorrow (w/some winds) and Friday (low 40s highs/overnight lows, teens/low 20s)...record potential highs Sun/Mon for Philly. Sun record high: 71F / Predicted high 71F Mon record high: 74F / Predicted high 71F Don't care about snow any longer because it's useless this time of year. All it does is make the townships throw down more brine/salt even though it won't stick anyways...don't need it. I'll take brutal below normal temps through Sept... 44F
  8. If all 3 months (DJF) were above average temp wise w/our dismal snow total I would have graded a D-. However we eeked a Jan below normal temps (nice winter winds played a factor as well) hence a generous D grade...
  9. I'm thinking a D grade for the winter. Blowtorch Dec and Feb...slightly below Jan. Approx 11-12 inches of snow which half didn't stick to paved surfaces. Times township snow plows used, once/myself shoveling, once. Brine/salt roads 10+ times in which 2/3 weren't needed which only made my car white and rust the underside/brake lines. No winter storm warnings, no holiday snow (Christmas to New Year)...I'm sure this winter sucked in more ways which I can't think of right now. 30F
  10. Yep. I think if we keep having subpar winters my time spent will decrease each year....still above average but more manageable. However, all I need is a one kick ass December then I'll overload for at least the rest of that season. 34F
  11. Ok, I gotcha. I'll admit, I spent less hours/time this year than previous years. Mainly because I'm sick of wasting time when I could be doing something more productive and in the end we ultimately get shafted. But I still spent way more time than the average sane person... 37F
  12. I shoveled once. The other times (2-3?) it either didn't stick on paved surfaces or melted before I could get my boots on and get outside.... 48F/Winds have calmed. Tomorrow may be the last day w/highs in the 30s or below till next Fall/Winter...
  13. Good riddance? We barely had a winter besides a few cold spells and a couple minor events. Can't believe it's over...seems like it never really started. 48F/Breezy
  14. So, it appears winter is over as far as snow? Really don't see much in the short-mid range...even long range. 42F/windy
  15. You could tell Glenn was fading himself out when he reduced his role to the morning weather broadcast. (Kinda like Jim Gardner only does the 6pm news) Also Glenn turned 70 so now he'll receive his full social security benefit. And a slick move to make Friday May 27th his last day (Memorial day weekend)...what a way to kick off summer.
  16. 39F...wind has been cranking a bit this afternoon. Actually the past two weeks the wind has been the most consistent feature.
  17. Some crunchy grass, bushes and other non paved surfaces but overall a cold rain/30F. The temp would have to drop several more degrees to have any meaningful impact...
  18. 28F / DP 15F / pretty dark overcast and to the W, let's see what the temps do today...
  19. Temps dropping at a decent rate after a high of 66F... 49F
  20. Sun poking through, 65F, the push to 70F begins...
