    The numbers would obviously look different if we were still using the old normals (1980-2010). I think they switched to 1990-2020 in May of this year. Some of you don't realize any positive departure would be a top 20 summer month.

    After all the evidence posted by Bluewave over the last couple of months we're still going with, "something must be wrong with Newark's temp readings!!". Also Newark is mostly in line with interior Queens as posted by Bluewave several times.

    This used to be an easy ask. Now all I can find are awful radars.

    The Meadowbrook was close earlier at m7. The Wantagh was flooded as well near the Sunrise exit. Merrick rd was closed in Massapequa. Sunrise was closed at the Sunrise Mall.

    Someone post a radar loop over the past 6 hours. I'm having trouble finding a decent one. It used to be easy.

    Stronger winds are just to your south but nothing crazy

    The Euro really backed off on the wind potential for the coast.

    No wind. No surge. Maybe a tornado with limited impacts. 1-3" of rain which could lead to water rescues.
