  1. BWI had 1.8" on 0.13" of precipitation through midnight. Almost 14:1 ratios.
  2. Haven't measured since 5am, but snowboard is covered again so I'm guessing I'm near 5" total. WSW verified! Should hit 6"...7-8" in reach?
  3. Official spotter report of 1.4” at 10pm. Let’s see what the morning brings!
  4. Haven’t measured yet but was eyeballing about that
  5. Probably around 0.2-0.3” so on the board for January!
  6. Flake size has increased from tiny to small. Visibility down under 2 miles.
  7. Snowboard is in the yard! Roads have been brined.
  8. 3k NAM soundings look fair for most of today, but not "puking dendrites" level. Tomorrow morning on the other hand...
  9. This. 3k doesn't go insane like the 12k, but is still a really nice storm. Easily warning criteria for the entire LWX area. Difference is what happens after 12z tomorrow on the 3k and 12k. 3k has a pretty modest moisture tap with some light snow while the 12k obliterates us. Easy decision to go with the 3k until the Euro agrees with the 12k. Please agree Euro. Eta...3k is still pushing a foot for areas around Wes and southern MD. Damn.
  10. Present from @mitchnick. 6z Euro is a shellacking.
  11. I was trolling but yes there will be some virga and the models account for that.
  12. Wettest year on record for BWI after yesterday’s storm. Over 63” now with a month and a half left in the year.
  13. Final spreadsheet 2018 First Freeze Contest.xlsx
  14. Drumroll please! Our combined average dates resulted in a departure of 32 days.
  15. First freeze contest is over! I’ll post results later today.
