  1. Maybe it'll actual rain here this time.
  2. I hope this .25" per hour deluge doesn't cause too much flooding. With the 1/2-inch I've received over the past 3 days, not sure the sand - I mean soil - can take much more water.
  3. Your pending invite is officially cancelled. I did not receive a drop last night, and I wake to see the entire region, save for my area, under yellows and oranges. Another ridiculous FFW, even as NWS cut back on the forecast totals again.
  4. New NWS forecast for here slashes rain totals in half for tonight and tomorrow from the previous forecast. Still way over done probably.
  5. 2 drops hitting the same point within a span of 4 hours. Well, at least for here.
  6. Cold front convection can't do it, historic coastal storms can't do it, massive upper level lows can't do it, massive tropical moisture plumes of 75f dews and 2.5" PWS values can't do it, so I don't know what's left that could produce anything more than drizzle here. Saddest excuse of a FFW I have seen. The radar looks like complete garbage for me.
  7. Maybe tomorrow. Check back then.
  8. Next to nothing. Again. And I'm under a FFW.
  9. Depends. How much did you get Saturday? Party is only for those who have received less than 1" since this epic period began saturday. BTW, round 2 is passing safely to my west. There is just as good a chance of me getting a foot of snow today, as getting an inch of rain.
  10. Pity 60 second downpour as the bulk of the complex passed to my ENE.
  11. Rain to the east, rain to the west. As usual, in the dry zone between.
  12. Doesn't matter. Happens 99% of all events. Will happen many more times this winter.
  13. Half-inch. What a cut-off. SMH.
  14. Actually started raining here. Miracle.
  15. Lol. The hrrr has 2.2" in my yard. I have .01". The H must stand for HORRIBLE.
  16. Closing in on .01" This feels just like a winter storm, and most certainly a fitting warm- up for what promises to be yet another winter of being fringed to shut out while the beaches get raked by storm after storm.
  17. My yard is mostly brown. The drought is back. And as today's futility has proven, it's only getting stronger. Long live the Shenandaoh Valley Desert.
  18. Bright and sunny here. Total shutout. Knew I should have treated the yard yesterday.
  19. Don't know if it's accurate that far back, but looked at the history of my nearest PWS for those 2006 dates and it was a complete shutout here from the 26th through the 30th. Lol. Figures.
  20. 95 - 96 was 22 years ago..... we were due.
  21. Would be nice to be able to use my 3 year old snow blower for the 2nd time.
