Congrats man ! Storm played out pretty much as expected.
Really blew away NWS Forecasted amounts as expected.
By the time the offical totals are given MRX forcast will match perfectly. Fudge tastes good.

I think we are haveing the heavest rates of the event.

Depending on where I mesure in the yard i have between 6 and 7 inches. If we had had cold ground we would maybe had a another inch.

Those puddles just could not take the strain when the rates got heavy.

Heavest snow of the night We now have around 6 inches in the grass. Have not measured it could be conservative or off the other way. We have ended up with more that I thought we were just a few hours ago. The back end of the storm has really took off.

Some of the heavest rates of the night. If It would keep this up we might hit those totals that the models were puting out.

With this latest band coming through Knoxville the wind is howling.

Here in West Knox near Ceader Bluff we tend to get less than most areas in all events. This event seems to be holding to that rule. We might have 3 inches and It has been snowing since around 1:15. We have only had a very short times with heaver rates.

MRX lowered Knoxville's totals again. Now expecting a half inch tonight and an additional 1-2 tomorrow morning. That doesn't meet their stated warning criteria. Again, I'd like to know what they are seeing that we are not seeing.
i don’t think they are seeing anything different. They are WORRIED ABOUT THE PUDDLES.

I am under a winter storm warning and my detailed forcast calls for less than one inch possible throughout the event in West Knoxville. I love how one part of the National Weather Service doesnt know what the other part is doing. I must say if that is all I get It would be on par with what has happened all year here.

The 18z suite was into the tequila. 0z is sobering up a little. My 20+ on the 18z 3k is more around 6 on the 0z.
That trend is not our freind. Lets hope it does not continue.

The report of snow in Dyersburg is correct. I am suprised the cold is thick enough to keep snow.

Got a quick half inch in west knox that got the roads mostly covered.

I use to live in Cleveland and have now lived in Knoxville for 16 years. I always thought knoxville got more snow than Cleveland but since I have been here that has not been the case. My parents have had more snow than we have had at least in the last 16 years.
