  1. Good idea what I would suggest is make sure they have trackman set up ,can really dial everything in . Some screen caps of a session last winter tt
  2. Thanks they are what they are, we have problems with people who don’t control easy food sources for them here which attract them to Populated neighborhoods. So no surprise it’s mostly the people that suck
  3. Lol i should have a little something extra for protection ( frowned on here), I had a not so little guy (50 lbs) get bit in the rump by a coyote back 8n February. F8ne now sucked at the time.
  4. Same, when I had a 60in my bag used it as a lob wedge Mostly yards and in, changed to a 58degree with k grind . I changed because I had a tendency to hit the 60 to high on the face and consistently came up short...
  5. Had reports locally here of coyotes jumping 6 ‘ fences like yours and killing pets , just saying is all
  6. 60 degrees - 100 yards thats a long way. One thing you can do is open the face a little , get mor loft and you can take roughly the same swing. Other method is to practice taking partial swings and flight the ball low , two hops skid and stop. Effective way to get it close on those short shots.
  7. Sweet 3 balls on the green
  8. Think I’ve mown 8-9 times every 5 days , lilacs and red azaleas in bloom
  9. Think PGA is over, don’t see brooks falling apart, someone will have to go low to challenge him. been playing weekly though have had to move our league day around to get it in and avoid the rain. Hopefully we’ve turned the corner.
  10. For those interested in getting a GHIN but not wanting to be a club member, you can do it through Swansea CC. There may be other clubs that do the same but I haven’t found any around here. You can do it all online. They offer RIGA or MAss golf. Even though I live in RI I got the MGA because it was cheaper and I just wanted a GHIN so I could play in tournaments.
  11. I watch on DVR, so I avoid this thread until i catch up. Early start. Should be fun. Molinari is so steady think someone will need to go low to catch him.
  12. If you use a pre-emergent like dimension, you won’t be able to seed in parallel. Need soil temps at least 50 for cool season grasses (eg fescues) before you seed. If / when you do seed use a starter fert. Definitely rake out the crap first.
  13. Played 1st local round Thursday. Wind was brutal. League starts in two weeks. Masters next week. 1st ever women’s (Am) event their today.
  14. Portsmouth RI , woke at 345 to rain pingers on window, measured 4.75” after compaction, did snow removal about anothe .25” after flip back to frozen. 5” storm total.
  15. Been snowing for a couple hours, moderate now good snow growth 33/33. Solid coating on cold surfaces, paved just wet.
  16. Ended as mixed with liquid 3” total Portsmouth RI
  17. Light to moderate now, little over 2” about 40 minutes ago, fro. Earlier today
  18. Portsmouth RI coating currently light to moderate 32/32
  19. In Ocala / Mt Dora Flo rida this weekend, weather been ideal around 80, east wind today with showers though
  20. It’s always golf season! an indoor golf opened up in town. Dude had 4 bays each with a track man 4. IMO the best coaching tool, breaks the swing down into meaningful numbers. This a a screen shot of my last session. Each with a video of my swing for that shot. So yeah getting swings in year round ...
