  1. Do they still have the speedway there? I remember going there with my childhood friend and his uncle--maybe around '72-'74.
  2. FWIW--I think the Debbie Downer title has officially shifted to Scott.
  3. Dont' need co-workers to hear that. Just ready through here and you see it a lot.
  4. CMC is wide-right. Anyone have nails for this coffin? Are we going to institute a 'no-thread until 3 days out policy"?
  5. We still have the GEFS to look forward to--though we're approaching the point when increasing credence will be lent to the op.
  6. I love the little donut sitting on my head.
  7. 00EC and 06GFS and 06NAM say to go back to bed for Sun/Mon. But......congrats Mitch, Hubb and ORH for tonight.
  8. “Some of us” being you, lava, pf, snd phin. Congrats.
  9. It seems that the 4-8" lock was a little rusty and had become brittle. On the upside, it's Thanksgiving. Have a great one!!
  10. 18z GEFS show a lot of whiffs. Tips "correction vector" doesn't bode well. Hopefully we'll see a better clustering of them closer in with the 00z run
  11. BOX is bullish. Sunday Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. West wind 5 to 7 mph. Sunday Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph after midnight. Monday Partly sunny, with a high near 37. North wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
  12. Almost as exciting as tracking dewpoints.
  13. Despite the coastal location, it looks like Pit2 is better situated than here.
  14. LOL--extended trips to the bathroom. A Lunenburg Lambaster.
  15. Great to see the blog.......but a thread at this point is the kiss of doom!
  16. Whatever you do, never cross the streams. So good to be 3 miles north of the Pike.
  17. I wonder if I can finagle a Pit2 run.....
  18. Are you saying we shouldn't lock 4 days out?
  19. Keep the windbreaker handy.....Christmas is right around the corner.
  20. BOX hinting at 4-8. Sunday through Tuesday... Clipper low and associated upper system drop southeast through the Midwest and to the Mid Atlantic coast, then moves out to sea. Forecast guidance suggests a dry passage for New England. Certainly, the GFS is dry. However, the ECMWF shows measureable precip along CT- RI-SE MA Sunday night and Monday. The forecast remains dry, but with low confidence. This one will need to be watched.
