Right, some of the lower totals I saw were around 2 inches near I-80 in Lake Hopatcong, NJ.  I wonder how much Mount Pocono has received?

I received just over 3" here and im under 1000'. Nice little over performer up here

Looks like finishing up the last batch here. Totals look to stay at 2.5 inches.

If we didn't get those couple of changes to sleet this would've easily been a 4-5 inch event here.

Yeah for sure. I heard it pinging away on the windows earlier this morning

I see NYC made 47 around 23z... kind of late in the day.  Ditto here we made 37 in Wantage here at 7P.  Too late to prevent damage.  I think the heliport in Manhattan made 50.

It's raining ice off the branches now here in Wantage and glad we have had the 70 MPH gusts, at least not yet.

May take quite a while to get power back once its off, due crews spread a little thin in the many east coast states where power is out.

This may be my last post for a day if we lose power.

I see lots of O& R trucks hanging out on standby out here. They are def anticipating power outages

    Temp finally above freezing 34°

I usually just hold my tongue on this type of stuff as usually I don’t see any issues. That said, I’m shocked that there is now WSW or WWA for around here with freezing rain pouring down. Sure I’m right at freezing, so the rain could go either way but the damage was already done so there is lots of ice out there now covered in water, plenty slippery enough. KMGJ just up the road still hasn’t touched freezing. Be careful out there.

I agree 100% A bit surprised no WSW was issued for Orange
