  2. Anyone else as surprised as I was at how fast this snow melted today? Obviously, the sun is extremely powerful…but it was a cold day.
  3. Man, I hurt for Raleigh peeps. We all knew a dry slot would get someone. Thursday and Friday, some models appears to indicate it would be that area. Models performed fairly well for the storm. I just hurt for you all.

  11. Winter Storm Warnings now in the entire state of SC. So that means both SC and NC are complete Winter Storm Warnings. That is super cool!

  15. anyone else look as close up as you can to these maps and try to figure out how you can get another tenth of of inch of snow!!! It's kind of a hobby of mine. Yep, I think my house is right on that line between 12.3" and 12.9". I'm going with 12.9!! Then the next map comes out and it's says 1.5". You go into cliff dive...noooooo Then the next map is saying 5.8" and 6.9". We back baby....we going with 6.9"!!! It's a rollercoaster. I might be bi-polar as well.
  16. Much Respect! For me, this is the type forecasting I prefer. Much like GP NWS, they always are cautious and are good about incremental updates. Personally, that is the way to forecast!
