Where’s everybody at right now? I’m still stuck at 26. Would love to see if we could get some heavy sleet returns under that line. But, pass if it’s going to be freezing rain.

Still heavy sleet off and on here. Freezing drizzle when the returns are bleak on radar

Like I said earlier. So far, every heavy band is sleet and the light is freezing drizzle

Seems we’re at the point where if there’s radar returns overhead, I’m sleet. If there’s nothing on radar, I’m light drizzle

Very heavy sleet. Biggest pellets so far. When I have light precip, it’s more freezing rain now

Holding steady at 20.1 this morning. Only a tick up from my low of 19. Still steady sleet. Similar to the snowflakes, the pellets are TINY. Have yall seen anything different?

Heavy sleet just moved through. Trees all do have just minor glaze on them. I can see across the mountain (Gateway area) that the trees are very shiny

Feels weird to say but I’m snow. Tiny microscopic flakes but that’s what I’m getting. Terrified of tonight/tomorrow

That’s quite a run for freezing rain in Mississippi up through Kentucky. Much lower totals in parts of the Carolinas.

How well equipped do you think Duke is to deal with a widespread ice-related outage. Especially with the cold air expected after? Think they can realistically get places back online fairly quickly?
