    I've seen Metrolina get blanked in so many Low energy transfers that I still expect it to happen. If somehow this is the one time Charlotte wins while RDU loses, I think it's fair though! Though Brad P just posted his call map and it's time to cliff dive cause he doesn't believe in the Upstate/Metrolina jackpots.

    I want to have faith but I've seen so many RDU bullseyes mean Metrolina gets a dusting or a pity inch.

    We're a bit too close to the edge still for comfort. We've had this forecast before and we end up with a dusting and that's my fear.

    More the fact it's snow and underforecasting that won't make people nearly as mad as if they had underforecasted the ice this last weekend.

    I can't let myself feel hope again. I've lived in the Metrolina area for a decade now and haven't had anything like this. I've seen so many modelled storms fizzle into nothing or Raleigh gets to have the fun. I'm still waiting for the rug pull.

    Sleet has started in Lancaster, some rain mixed in to start it seems. Heavier returns starting to reach the city.

    I'm feeling lucky so far in Lancaster, roads are totally white but grass is barely dusted. I don't know when things are supposed to fill in later today still.

    Getting light drizzle I can see in the streetlights despite no radar returns overhead in Lancaster. Can't tell any icing yet because it's too early to go outside.

    Regarding electric, there was an entire Lakeland Electric crew set up at a hotel in Rock Hill, SC.

    For better or worse point forecasts in my area increased to 38/39 but we didn't get above 35 and we're already dropping. Had a few drops of rain make it to the ground but not much more than that so far.

    My fault. I said I'd rather have cold rain if I wasn't getting snow.

    I'm of the stance if I can't get snow I'll take cold rain so since event has been a bust for me for a while in SC.

    I'm so terrified of the Euro solution. I can't handle another sleet and freezing rain storm when an hour north of me gets a foot of snow.

    GSP at least isn't biting on snow for my area. Hoping it materializes though. 3 inches of fluffy day time snow would be a dream.

    Rock Hill and Charlotte are really rough spots to be. So many storms to the west, north, and east of us.

    Confirming snow in Rock Hill, SC. There's still a bunch of ice melt happening from the freezing rain and sleet today though. Right around freezing.

    Up to 31 degrees and pure rain. Icicles getting longer. Now's the dangerous time waiting for it to get over 32.
