Still a tropical storm -
I am at .17 for the month. Luckily I got over an inch the last few days of June.

We ended up with .13. Might be some more light rain or sprinkles later. Looks like central and eastern NC will be the big winner with rain the next week or two.

I think the dry air from the ULL has done as much or more damage than the land interaction.

The rain today has been comically missing my location again. 5 miles to the south and west are getting drenched. Not a drop here yet.

I thought we might indirectly or directly get beneficial rain from Beryl but that looks less likely now.

My job location in west asheville has been extremely unlucky. We did get .21 today but just north had 1-2 inches. Its been really dry at that location with only 1.08 the last month.

Today was amazingly bad for MBY and rain. Parts of the Blue Ridge 10 miles NW away had 2-3 inches. 10 miles to the south had a heavy storm. 10 miles to the east had a severe storm. Here- only a trace.

A 2nd Mexico landfall seems unlikely now. A few days ago it seemed very likely.

.97 for the day now with light rain still fallinh. Over 1.5 the last 4 days. Definitely helps the short term drought.

Big storm went through Morganton. We had a decent shower here too. .27 more. Grass is making a comeback quickly.

We finally got a heavy shower today, .34. I think we should slowly see conditions improve the next few weeks.

I started June with about an inch of rain the first 10 days but practically nothing since and no real signs of relief. Might have to wait until a tropical system douses us.

Parts of McDowell got 2-3 inches too. Not MBY. Only .08.

If the models are correct, we could have a 2 week dry stretch. Longest since last November.
