  1. Looks like a good run of the GFS coming. Think it will be a little further south with the confluence stronger
  2. Shouldn't be a big issue with the storm track. Models can overdo it at times. My biggest concern is gulf convection
  3. Off to a pretty good start so far. Even the GFS was a warning level storm here.
  4. I'm feeling...dare I say... optimistic?
  5. I hate to even bring this up but this is the type of system to beware of gulf coast convection. Many storms have had moisture transport screwed by that here.
  6. Yeah the wind is ripping here too. The power grid is still not fully back to normal with all the infrastructure damage. Especially in Yancey and Mitchell
  7. Yeah I tried that one a few years back. Couldn't get into it. We got some flurries flying in McDowell currently.
  8. I left an hour or so ago and it was getting sketchy
