  1. Honestly I feel better that the GFS isn't showing much. If it was the NAM I would be more worried...
  2. UK is squashed, its not trending our way at the moment.
  3. The northern stream energy dropping down is limiting the extent of the moisture on the northern edge.
  4. Canadian is back to being more suppressed
  5. It isn't juicy and it's pretty warm at the surface
  6. Euro quite suppressed still the most suppressed model with the UK
  7. Unfortunately with the energy that is being held back in the southwest- It will likely eject after it warms up and be a big rain maker. Last night's OP euro showed it.
  8. Exactly. but he wont understand he has little meteorological understanding.
  9. Euro is the most suppressed which is not good at all
  10. Next 10 days of rain on the Euro is 2 months worth in some areas. I don't know how we avoid major flooding if this pattern continues..
  11. Widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain across most of the area next 10 days..
  12. I know this well. But the flood from Michael was the worst in recorded history in Danville according to the USGS gage.
  13. The preceding river conditions were way different then. The water levels are much lower now and it would have to rain over 7 inches to even get to moderate flood. There will be some flooding but it is highly unlikely to be close to Michael. I was in Danville when it hit. 3 people were washed away and drowned by the flash flooding, the Dan River rose 20 feet in hours. People underestimate what a disaster it was for the city
  14. It won't be close. Wind gusted over 60 mph in Danville and it rained over 6 inches in 6 hours.
  15. Michael was devastating for Danville. This wont touch that..
  16. I have been saying it for a while but flooding is going to become a major concern if this keeps up. After a widespread 2-5 inch rain this week it looks to be wet again next week and beyond...
  17. Last nights OP Euro drops some good snow on WNC and East TN next weekend..
  18. Next week is going to be interesting with a possible strong storm system with heavy rain, flooding and severe weather
  19. The winter of 2009/10 had a negative NAO and active STJ. Jackpot. It snowed multiple times each month including December even in Marion.
