The GFS was the least snowy model here and had 2 or 3 inches, I don't think we will even get that. The hi res and short range models all had between 3 and 6 inches. The temperatures have been ok here around 32 all night but the snow rates have been awful after the initial band.

Hi Res NAM has some of the heavier precip on the other side of the mtn up near NE TN and KY

36 here now, the evaporational cooling is doing work. The radar gap does look suspicious but it should fill in with the flow around the upper low

That bit of sun was just enough to warm it up before the clouds trapped it. It actually got to 46 here earlier

Euro isn't an app runner this run. It's more of a weak system with some light snow in the mtns and light rain elsewhere

I doubt we see 4 to 6 and you get 0. More likely you get an inch or 2 and I get 3 or 4.

The sun had made an appearance and the temp is up to 43

37 here after a big frost. The air feels like snow and the birds are out actively feeding. They know it's coming
