Thunder snow just north of BTV.  Another squall warning issued.

Yep.  Second squall of the day.  First one late morning dropped 0.6". This one is at 0.4" so far.

I've heard that 89 has gotten nasty at times.

If the north could have kept their base intact…this would be fine.  The County got hit hard last mid and late March last year, and I was up riding on 3/30, 3/31 and 4/1…and it was superb. But being it’s all gone already, and clubs are shut down for the year, ya it’s too late this time.

The biggest thing is that ground isn’t frozen to any real extent and all the water crossings are open. Most people think of bridges and culverts but trails cross a lot of wet ground and places that don’t lend themselves to bridges and culverts. There is a surprising amount of water in NNE even in normal years.

There's 3 summits above 3K that are having a decent March. Everyone else is skiing on granite.

This.  It's a pretty narrow area that is getting snow.  Though I will say that it has impacted travel some.  I'm at an in-person meeting today and people from west of the spine said conditions were slick.  The flow must be blocked because there wasn't much where I live east of the mountains.

Awesome dude.  What part of the west coast? Last time I was in the Tampa Port Richey area and it's wall to wall peeps.

There are places on the west coast that aren't over run yet but their getting fewer and farther between.  I've always been partial to the Panhandle beaches but everything there from Apalachicola west is booming.  It has changed so much in recent years.

I guess…just going by that regional wide map posted. The point is we got the first half of April during the first half of March.

Let’s hope that doesn’t completely flip.

Instrumentation or coding error. They were having issues that day.

I was going to say something had to have been going on. I certainly don’t remember a 90° day in March 2007

    You have an Ambient, too!

It’s been a decent unit and at a decent price. I don’t need anything high end like a Davis. I’ll definitely get another when this one dies.

I hoped the warmth into existence today 66-70 around the area currently.

After the quick shot of impressive cold for late March we will mild back up.  Everything has trended less anomalous and more progressive as we close in on time this winter. I still think we flip back to at or above normal last week of March.

What a difference a couple of hundred miles makes.
