  1. Not much to say other than wow https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/mass-man-shoots-56-on-bradford-golf-course/2184428/
  2. After watching that, I don't think I'm applying any time soon.
  3. -11 through 11 and the nada. Like Faldo said if he went -11 on his last 11 holes people would have gone nuts.
  4. I guess this should have been expected but it still sucks. Hopefully they come back next year. https://www.wcax.com/2020/08/20/fis-drops-killington-from-world-cup-schedule/?fbclid=IwAR09I03f8YRXIKgm-ZWwEjU25HXQpdc4E6RXqgjNMP8Ph7QE-UJcAD8_4eA
  5. I came across that once. I watched it only for the Norwegian scenery.
  6. With all the chemicals used on golf courses, I bet the bass look like this!
  7. I think I stayed it in an earlier post but I may like golf better without fans.
  8. Lol, I though it was a beat up old tennis ball.
  9. Watching the US Am from Bandon Dunes in Oregon. What a beautiful course. Closest thing to true links golf in America. I love links courses and this one I beautiful.
  10. Do they have lead or maybe plastic tees? That's abut what my handicap could handle.
  11. What a final round by Morikawa. This is only his second major. Pretty fun final round overall. I live it when they have majors on the west coast. You get to watch more in tv.
  12. 6 players tied for the lead at -9. Should be an interesting final round.
  13. Shot an 89 to finish 2 strokes back in my flight. Other than a disastrous 9 on the 6th hole, I played ok. Going into the tournament with zero expectations certainly helps.
  14. Shot an uneven 85 in the first round of my club championship today. 48 on the front and 37 on the back. I really only had 3 or 4 bad swings on the front that put me in trouble that I struggled recovering from and I missed a couple of putts between 3 and 5 feet. Overall I didn’t feel I hit the ball terribly. The back 9 things really started clicking. I started hitting the ball better and started making some putts. I parred the first 5 holes on the back and was maybe 2 feet of missed putts away from being 3 under. I went into this tournament with no expectations, just hoping to see some progress. Needless to say, I was happy to put things together for at least 9 holes.
  15. I was wondering the same thing. Not that I ever practice but as long as you observe social distancing etc. you can go chip and putt around.
  16. My club championship this weekend. Going to throw in (away?) my $25 and give it a whirl. Since the PGA is on the west coast, I'll still be able to watch. Honestly, I don't mind watching golf without spectators. I really don't miss "In the hole!" after every tee shot.
  17. 64° at MPV. That's what you get at hilltop ASOS
  18. That’s what I figured. The Lamoille seemed pretty high.
  19. Had to go t o Essex today and took the long way home, Rt.15 to Rt.108 through Smuggler's Notch. The rivers were pretty high, which surprised me a bit. Around here they were pretty low to begin with and it doesn't look like they got that much more rain than we did around here.
  20. I listened to some of it on SiriusXM and watched the last few holes up until Koepka put it in the water on 17 or 18. I wish I had seen Thomas hit bridge and make it over.
  21. People in VT do not hate out of staters. Are some people jerks? Yes and you seem to know more than your share. I’m sorry you’ve had a bad experience but that’s your experience and not the entire story.
  22. Played in a pro-am at the Country Club of Vermont today. Beautiful course with great views. Played ok in spurts. The greens were fast and very hilly. The wind was pretty strong too. The picture below usually has a great view of Camel’s Hump but the clouds and mist were starting roll through.
