MASN/Os suck. The fact they still block streaming is insane in today’s tech world. I have YouTube TV and I can’t watch the Nats...I wish the Nats would move to NBC Sports Washington.

The line broke apart earlier this evening as it crossed into Garrett County from WV (which was fine by me since I had just started the grill). Wound up with 0.01” today. Currently 58 after a high of 75.

Beautiful morning. 55 and full sun.

Picked up a quick 0.2" here in 20 minutes and temp dropped from 76 to 68. Rain picking up again.

Looks like storms are starting to fire. Two storms just popped to my east in eastern Garrett County - I can hear the distant rumbles of thunder. Partly sunny and 75/69 here.

The summer without summer seems to be shaping up. I know I'm in the minority here, but I like sustained heat in the summer (90s).

Still stuck at 49 at the house in Deep Creek. -22 departure from the normal high.

Yeah, we decided to go with the metal fastener....just couldn’t justify that price difference and honestly we wouldn’t recoup that whenever we decide to sell it.

I’m glad I’m in Arlington today. It’s currently 47 in Deep Creek (brrrr). I did pick up 0.41” so far today out there which is helping the flowers.

Anyone here have a metal roof? We are getting a new one at Deep Creek and going with metal (currently shingles). trying to decide between exposed fasteners vs the seamless. Seamless has no risk of the screws degrading over time/causing leaks but it’s about $7k over the exposed fastener metal roof. The roofer said the seamless has a life of like 100 years (lol).

For this area, I thought the storm tonight was a good one. Gusty winds, lots of T&L, torrential rain. Just had the western tail of a storm that passed through Alexandria too.
