  1. @winterwxluvr - take that!
  2. 0.8” of rain on the day at Deep Creek. Temp is 54 degrees - looks like a few hours away from the cold coming through.
  3. Ha, I can tell you in my case, it was just laziness. I ignored the flower beds, mulch, etc - oops. But I’ll tell my partner it just blew over from the neighbors’ yard since you told me that.
  4. That’s in Venezuelan Bolivars right?
  5. Yep, I mentioned that to RIC_WX a few days ago when I saw that NS vort/clipper moving through the NE. It screamed for upslope setup for the mountains.
  6. Noticing some larger tree buds in the yard over the last two days, too.
  7. I don't even care if what you're saying is actually right, but damn it sounds smart!
  8. Feels like a spring morning out there with temps in the los 50s and lots of birds chirping.
  9. think of those lines as highways for storms/air flow. the big ridge out west in the EPO domain is sending Canadian air to the east. and some STJ action down south too. overrunning signal like @brooklynwx99 said
  10. Whenever I see a house that big, I immediately think two things: 1) How do you keep that clean? and 2) Imagine the utility bills
  11. Yep, we’ve lived in our current home for a year and I have a feeling I’ll be saying the same in 5 years. take the fall leaves for example - back in November, I looked at the front/side/backyards and told myself “ahhh, I did a great job with the leaves” - well either I was drunk or just gave up….there’s a good amount of leaves I still need to get up which admittedly is project number one the first weekend we’re not in McHenry and its in the 50s.
  12. Let’s go Caps! They’re on the road so I expect a win tonight…..good start
  13. Do you want to come over and do the same for me? I’ve got a long to-do list for spring clean-up in the yard.
  14. We’re hosting my family this weekend including 6 nieces and nephews who want to play in the snow. Unfortunately it looks like the 5-6” that was left on the ground Sunday when we left will be gone on Thursday. We’ll get some upslope Friday morning and might be able to sneak in some snow showers Saturday morning/afternoon by that NS disturbance tracking through NE, especially if we can get it 50 miles south.
  15. Great shot capturing the squall @HighStakes!
  16. I like Romo as a commentator...he knows his stuff, is enjoyable to listen to, and genuinely gets excited about cool plays.
  17. Got a few flurries coming down here! Alexandria is the new Parrs Ridge.
  18. First 70s showing up on the LR 06z GFS. Bring it!
  19. Ha, I had the exact same thought. Brady/Gronk?
  20. Who’s everyone rooting for tonight? Hoping for a great game and a Bengals win. oh and I win the super bowl squares too
