  2. You know, it's got to be rough being a Red Sox announcer...
  3. Update on the LWX Radar: https://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/wx/afos/p.php?pil=PNSLWX&e=202009281850 Looks like no sooner than the 16th of next month. On Saturday, technicians from the NWS Radar Operations Center (ROC), based in Norman, Oklahoma, determined that a primary component for turning the radar antenna, the bull-gear, needs replacement. This repair will require 12,000 to 15,000 pounds of equipment and a six-person team from the ROC to restore the radar.
  4. LWX Radar to be down for several days: https://nwschat.weather.gov/p.php?pid=202009211845-KLWX-NOUS41-PNSLWX
  5. Storms just rolled through Baltimore and Eastern Baltimore County. Lightning VERY close to the house, power flashed for a moment here. Heavy rain with this as well.
  6. About time. I'd love a nice stretch to have the doors and windows open during the day
  7. Sorry to ask what might be a dumb question, but is this the last of the colder weather we are bound to see until the fall? Just curious.
  8. Looks like we missed out up here in Baltimore. Light snow but nothing of note from the 2nd round.
  9. Just shoveled and it was around 3-4” here. It’s pretty though, light powdery snow.
  10. Drink enough of that and you can be part of a fighting force of extraordinary magnitude.
  11. Snow sticking to rooftops and cars here, looks like sidewalks and grass beginning to dust over
  12. Snowing lightly here in the shadow of the Golden Domes in Dundalk
  13. I lean to 2010 over the past storm for a more personal reason, it was right before my first son was born.
  14. I was only 2 during PD I, and there's a picture of me standing next to a snow drift in our back yard almost twice as big as me. Still I got to go with Snowmadgeon I. That was just impressive to watch the snow piling up
  15. Didn't feel anything here in Dundalk
  16. Thankfully not I. The idea is basically the two are in a straight line, and the ends cause the middle to "snap" like a rubber band. Again, not my idea. I chalk today up to **** happens out of the blue, and earthquakes happen everywhere
  17. There's a theory that this, combined with the quakes in Colorado today is going to put pressure in the middle...New Madrid, MO
