    well one good thing is there is no direction to go but up, that's some hope,

    of course, it will get cold the end of next week when there is no moisture around,

    the south is one thing, but when the WNC Mtns. can't get any snow is another.

    We need some cold air, this warm stuff is killing us. Mercy.

    the only problem with that date is man we're already talking Jan 9th, my goodness, unreal, we get rain and plenty of it. We can't even get some flurries in the mountains, let alone the flat lands.

    Boy nothing to track with the weather, very boring but maybe this means an awesome January.

    sounds like you guys are doing ok. still not quite the storm I thought we were hearing about but maybe will show up later today for you. here in Candler it was snowing around 3 this morning and snowed til around 9 this morning but temps never made it to freezing, about 34 is all we could muster so not very good for us but these events usually aren't even though occasionally we'll get a couple of inches out of the NW flow. oh well maybe we'll have a gulf low to track soon, that's where we get the moisture.

    my bad fellas I went to GSP site and it states also for the City of Asheville. I missed that on the AW.

    comon fellas can Asheville not get just a little if there is even winter storm warnings posted and winter weather adv. for west, east and north of asheville? plus for some of Buncombe County

    with all this snow around can't we muster up an inch for KAVL, gheeeezzz

    Well here we go again we're very cold of which would support snow easily, but we warm up and get 2-3 inches of rain Wednesday night into Thursday and then we turn cold again but no moisture, dry and cold again, very very disappointing.

    Hey is anyone else getting those pop ups everytime you go from one topic to the other, very annoying.

    Hey do you guys keep getting the pop ups at the bottom of the page, sometimes also the top of the page but mostly the bottom, very annoying. You know fellows is winter going to ever arrive, at least the cold air, this is ridiculous.

    wow looking at the radar the precip hits a brick wall on the NC Virginia border like a wall has been built there.

    moderate snow in Candler NC just west of Asheville, ground is covered now.

    Have 10 inches and 29 degrees here in West Asheville, still snowing, so much for an inch or two is what was said Thursday evening, what a great surprise.
