    I get it eventually it’ll warm above freezing but out this way we tend to hold on to icing longer than predicted in almost cases, especially if it starts near rush hr

    Correct me if I’m wrong but it seems the starting time for this mess is between 4-6am where previously it was 1-4am. I think the later start time would be even more concerning more traffic on the roads etc.

    I still think we get wacked with one MECS before the fat lady sings. I’m not much of a March snow type, early March maybe but after mid month bring on Spring. It would be nice for these next couple weeks to rock.

    I’m roughly 20 miles south of 78 and unfortunately do rather good in these Cad setups and icing.

    I hate to play devils advocate, but I feel we’ve been down this road before. Don’t get me wrong I hope we cash in on every threat I think caution should be taken to avoid the masses running for the bridges. With all that said, don’t stop posting those clown maps

    I’ll pass on the ice too, snow/sleet I’m fine with but a long duration freezing rain event is not fun at all .

    31F I’m glad we are finally coming out of the deep freeze. Looks like maybe something to track next week with normal temps, I’m at 12.45” snowfall so far this season and looking for more.

    6.5 was my total after all was said and done. Now on to bone chilling temps.

    Look like we have 1 more moderate band to come through then the back edge around 7:30. I’m happy I got to see what banding looks like again and Mt Holly great call out here. Probably end up a smidge over 6”.

    We are at 6” now with moderate snow still falling, we came out of the dry slot it pretty much snowed heavy ever since 1”+ hr awesome
